Mask Proposal

The city council members had a meeting this week discussing the mask ordinance. City council members Ben Gray suggested that the mask ordinance should be extended to stay in place until the positivity rate and case numbers can reach a certain level.

His proposal also states that there need to be 10 or fewer cases per 100 thousand people. The first mask mandate was set to expire on Oct 20, then was extended to Nov. 24, and now set to stay in play until the positive rate is it below or at 5%. The actual vote for this with take place on Nov 10.
