11-Worth Cafe Reopens

A nonprofit organization that helps the homeless called Together bought the building for 1.75 million and plans to use it for their service department.

The restaurant 11-Worth café was closed in in June due to the owner’s son making a racist post on Facebook saying, “protesters should be shot dead.” Protesters then threaten to vandalize the building for they didn’t donate money to a Black Lives Matter Foundation.

Even after the owner donated $1,000 to a foundation, protester wanted the owners to make a six figures donation, so they decided to shut the whole building down after it had been running for 44 years.
