“The Terrifier 2” is a 2021 horror movie and a sequel to the 2016 film The Terrifier. It follows the same clown character, Art, as he continues his reign of terror. The movie has a lot of gore and jump scares, but it’s also been praised for how much of a cinematic masterpiece it is and the soundtrack.

“ It’s very sickening,” Elizabeth Roman Torres [9] said. “So sickening to the point that it’s not even scary anymore. It’s just way too graphic and it’ll make you sick to your stomach.”

  1. The Bay

“The Bay” is a 2012 found footage horror movie about a small town in Maryland that is hit by a deadly virus during a Fourth of July celebration. The movie is unique because it’s presented as a series of news reports, phone calls, and video footage shot by various characters. It’s a pretty scary movie, and it’s been praised for it’s realism and the way it uses the found footage format.

“I couldn’t sleep for 2 nights after watching it,” Tyler Stafford [10] said.

“The Conjuring” is a 2013 supernatural horror movie based on the real-life experiences of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. The movie follows the Warrens as they investigate a haunted farmhouse in Rhode Island and try to help a family who is being terrorized by malevolent spirits. The movie is known its jump scares and creepy atmosphere, and it’s been praised for it’s practical effects.

“It’s good because it’s scary and it’s from a true event,” Lacki Tamang [9] said. “They took their time making it perfect and good. I love it”

  1. Attack on Titan

“Attack on titan” is a Japanese mange and anime series about humanity’s struggle against humanoid giants known as titans. The story follows Eren Yeager and his friends Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert as they join the military to fight against the Titans and uncover the truth behind their existence. It’s thrilling and action-packed series that’s definitely worth the watch !

“Even though it isn’t really horror, a lot of gore takes place,” Harriet Salamalam [9] said. “It’s a very graphic anime with a great plot and lots of plot twists.”

  1. Peek Mak

“Peek Mak” is a 2013 Thai horror-comedy film directed by Banjong Pisanthanakun. It is a comedic retelling of a classic Thai ghost story about a man named Mak who returns home from war with four of his friends. However, his wife and village believe he is dead, and when he returns, they are afraid of him. The story is full of humor, romance and scares, and its a fun and unique take on the horror genre.

  1. Scream 4

“Scream 4” was released in 2011. The film takes place ten years after the events of the original “Scream” movie, and follows Sidney Prescott as she returns to her hometown of Woodsboro to promote her new book. However, Ghostface returns to terrorize the town once again, and Sidney just team up with old friends and new to stop the killer. The movie features many of the same characters from the previous movies, as well as some new faces, and it’s a great addition to the “Scream” franchise.

“It’s more of a thriller than a horror movie but I find it funny in some ways which I like,” Jocelin Hernandez [9] said.

  1. Lights Out

“Lights out” is a horror movie about a family being haunted by a supernatural entity that can only appear when the lights are out. It’s a suspenseful and scary movie that keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very end.

“This movie kept me scared the entire time,” Achol Mareng [9] said. “I think if you’re a true fan of scary movies or if you’re scared of the dark, you’d enjoy it.”

“Scream” is a slasher movie that revolves round a masked killer who terrorizes a small town. The movie is a parody of the horror genre and features many references to classic horror movies. It’s a fun and entertaining movie that will keep you guessing until the end.

“The movie leaves you guessing and raises your blood pressure,” Simeon Taylor [9] said.

“The Uncanny” is a horror anthology movie that features three different stories about cats. The movie explores the idea that cats are supernatural creatures and can bring bad luck or even death to those around them. It’s a unique and interesting movie that will keep you entertained and scared.

“It’s unique and unconventional,” Dah Lay Paw [9] said. “It’s really fun and creepy.”

“Fear Street” is a horror movie trilogy based on the book series of the same name by R.L. Stine. The movies take place in the fictional town of Shadyside, Ohio, and follows a group of teenagers as they uncover the dark history of their town and curse that has been plaguing it for centuries. Each movie takes place in a different time period and features a different cats of characters, but they are all connected by overarching storyline. It’s a fun and suspenseful movie.

“I really enjoyed Fear Street, so I’d recommend it to everybody,” Deyah Cooper [9] said.
