JROTC Competes at National Event
The floor was ready for armed drill regulation to perform, and like many others, this was a nervous moment for them; but, not for junior John Galloway. “I felt stress at first, but after stepping off, I felt relieve; you just got to do it!” Galloway said. ”I did feel nervous before, but after I felt confident. I am pretty sure I did alright.” Galloway said. And, alright he thought because due to confidence and motivation, armed drill regulation has placed third place in Nationals!

While exploring the Air Force Academy, things got hyper when the instructor presented a machine that brings you up, sort of like a parachute, and you ring around. Freshman Nang Aei Kham was offered the chance, and she took it! “It was up high, then I was being whirl around!” Kham said. “When the instructor yanked down the rope, I was really surprised. Overall, it was a fun experience, and I want to join the air force someday, so hopefully, I'll be able to learn more!” Kham said.
