Earlier last week, students got together to protest at the TAC building. OPS students are upset over the cancellation of fall sports.

Students showed up at the Tac building to protest the cancellation of sports holding signs and shouting, “Bring back our sports, we want to play!”

Sophomore Bryson Tracey also said that they hoped that the district would listen to reason and let them play.

“I feel that just because of Covid-19 doesn’t mean that we can’t be safe and play sports,” Tracey said.

Students are starting a petition to see if they can have measures in so they can play and still be safe from Covid-19.
