“Let Us Play”

“Let Us Play” signs where held all over Burt Street on Sept. 2, by OPS students and parents over the cancelation of fall sports, some students even wore their sports uniforms there.  

Many student-athletes say it’s not just about being on the field or court, it’s also about all the opportunities they can miss. 

On Monday, OPS Superintendent Cheryl Logan sent a letter to families acknowledging the disappointment of many students and families but standing by the decision to suspend athletics and activities this fall.
